One time in every 12 month period (beginning 12 months from the inception date) during the term of a Concord Bank Choice Certificate of Deposit you may contact the Bank and notify us of your choice to increase your rate. This increase is limited to the “current published” Concord Bank CD rate of the same term as your original CD. In other words, if you have a five year CD, you may choose to increase the rate to the current Concord Bank five year CD rate.
In order to request your increase, you will need to bring the original certificate of deposit to Concord Bank. If the account is held jointly, either one of the account owners may request an increase.
A notice will be mailed to you confirming your choice as well as your revised APY (annual percentage yield). A new certificate will not be issued.
